You've heard the talk about cell phones and our environment but do you know about all the other personal electronics winding up in our landfills?
Alberta has over 350 landfills and many are full or nearly full. Cell phones are not the only items to be diverted from our landfills. From Ink Jet Cartridges (which take 1,000 years to decompose and only 5% sold in Canada are being recycled), to Personal Digital Assistants (PDA's), Batteries and Chargers are being thrown in the trash. PDA's and Cell Phones especially can leak toxins into the landfills and our air when burned.

For many Albertans the question is ?How do I recycle these items??
The answer is the CPAA Go Green Electronic Recycling Program.
Our electronic recycling program is a fantastic way to recycle home and office materials. Cell phones, ink jet cartridges, PDA's and laptops can now be collected in a single "Go Green" box.
We deliver a lightweight collection box at no cost to you or your business. Once the box is full, pick up is only a phone call away!!
The use of these collection boxes assists in diverting unnecessary waste from our landfill, reduces methane gas emissions and conserves our natural resources while generating revenues for valuable programs within the province.
