Art FUNdamentals
Participants will explore different materials and art making techniques from pencil on paper to acrylic paint on canvas. Participants are able to make sculptures using wood, plaster and clay. The main goal of the class is to have fun and be creative and is suitable for participants of all abilities.

DANCE WITHOUT LIMITS

Creative Movement & Dance - NE
Dance is a great way to exercise; music is the key to people's souls and the benefits are endless for people with disabilities. We have established the dance mentorship program to create a unison integrated environment for all dancers to come together and share the experience of movement.

MUSIC
Meet up Music
A combination of music therapy and art, this program allows creative expression when words can't. Increase your personal expression, skill enhancement (both music and art), and positive peer interaction. Ideal for individuals who have a passion for music and a willingness to explore new creative activities.

SWIMMING
Little Nemo's Swimming Class - Sponsored by Alberta CP Sports Association
Come enjoy a six week session of swimming in Calgary’s warmest salt water pool. This program will begin with the basic swimming skills to allow participants to become comfortable in the water. Each week we will practice these skills and continue to build on them. The instructor will modify the lesson to accommodate the needs and abilities of each individual and will guide the parents and/or volunteers to work with the participants at their own pace.

Community Social Meet-up Group
This is a group that meets every Tuesday night from 6:00-8:30 to participate in social activites. The activities vary week to week and include such things as movie nights, pub/dinner nights and guest speakers. We have many of our members that attend our events every week but it can also be done on a drop in basis (no need to let anyone know that you are/are not coming). A member from the CPAA also attends each week.
