Other Ways to Help
Our partnership with Agents of Change empowers you to support us in a substantial way if you are considering buying or selling a home.
Agents of change allow people to buy or sell real estate anywhere in the world with a talented agent from a leading local real estate company, hand-selected for your individual requirements – and direct 20% of the commission back to the Cerebral Palsy Association in Alberta (CPAA).
At no additional cost, you can be matched with a great agent (or request your current favourite real estate agent) and ensure that funds are directed to the CPAA to individuals with cerebral palsy and other disabilities. Just start by clicking here and looking for a referral!
Donate your old car
Donate A Car Canada accepts vehicle donations for the Cerebral Palsy Association in Alberta (CPAA). They provide free towing in many areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation.
When you donate your RV, boat, motorcycle or other vehicle to the CPAA through Donate A Car Canada, it will either be recycled or sold at auction depending on its condition, age and location.
Donate A Car Canada will look after all the details. Once your vehicle donation is complete, the CPAA will send you a tax receipt within 45 days!
Change your energy provider
Sponsor Energy Inc. is an Alberta-based power retailer that allows Albertans the opportunity to switch from their current electricity provider to enjoy responsive, reliable service at a lower price than the traditional providers. Sponsor Energy also donates half its profits on electricity consumption right back into the community, and has partnered with the Cerebral Palsy Association in Alberta (CPAA) for this program.
You have the opportunity to help the CPAA – just by switching from your current power company to Sponsor Energy for electricity. Whether you are a residential or small business customer, Sponsor Energy will make a donation of 50% of their profits on your electricity usage to the CPAA each month. It does not cost you any extra – in fact, you will likely save money on your electricity bill each month!
