WORLD CP DAY
World Cerebral Palsy Day, is held annually on October 6th and is a global movement of people with cerebral palsy and their families, and the organizations that support them, in more than 60 countries.
Each year our guests look forward to a new and exciting theme, and can count on great entertainment and spectacular chef inspired menus prepared by local artisan chefs. The Gala never disappoints, and has successfully raised much needed funds for the CPAA’s programs and services.
Cerebral Palsy Alberta puts on several events each year, allowing us to connect with our community and celebrate the accomplishments of our organization, as well as the successes of our members. Fundraising at our events allows us to continue to offer programs and services and enable people with cerebral palsy and other disabilities to live a Life Without Limits.
LIFE WITHOUT LIMITS
No times, no pressure, no sweat – just some easy moves and lots of laughs. Over 500 participants of all ages and abilities take part annually, running, walking and wheeling in Calgary and Edmonton or take on one of our New Challenges… the Wheelchair Challenge or the Virtual Challenge!
Cerebral Palsy Alberta offers volunteer opportunities for one-time events, ongoing programs or office-based work. Volunteers play a fundamental role in the programs and services that we offer to our members and the community.
