EVENTS

Cerebral Palsy Alberta puts on several events each year, allowing us to connect with our community and celebrate the accomplishments of our organization, as well as the successes of our members. Fundraising at our events allows us to continue to offer programs and services and enable people within the disability community to live a Life without Limits.

We encourage everyone to get involved with our annual events where you can enjoy the company of other members, supporters, and volunteers. Thank you to the individuals, groups, and companies who contribute financially and donate items to our events, and to our volunteers who donate their time and expertise in making our events successful. HUSH GALA

OCTOBER 17, 2026

THEME:  WE'RE KEEPING IT HUSH!

Cerebral Palsy Alberta held its first gala in 2007 in an effort to raise funds and awareness for individuals within the disability community. With the success of the gala, it quickly became an annual event.

The HUSH Gala embraces a different theme each year and secret elements are always kept HUSH that will only be revealed to our guests as clues and details are slowly released.  Take part in the VIP signature cocktail reception, enjoy  appetizers, a chef-created gourmet meal, exciting entertainment and the opportunity to bid on fabulous live and silent auction items.

The Gala never disappoints and has successfully raised much-needed funds for the CPAA’s programs and services.  This fundraiser would not be possible without our countless volunteers, supporters, donors, and sponsors. For more information or if you would like to participate as a sponsor, donor or volunteer, please contact:

ANNIVERSARY

BENEFIT CONCERT

MAY, 2026

In 2026, Cerebral Palsy Alberta is proud to celebrate a major milestone — 50 years of impact. Since May 18, 1976, we have worked alongside individuals, families, and communities to build a more inclusive, barrier-free Alberta.

Every ticket purchased and donation made helps CP Alberta continue delivering meaningful programs, services, and social enterprise initiatives that support people to live their best lives — today and for the next 50 years.

We acknowledge that what we call Alberta is the traditional and ancestral territory of many peoples, presently subject to Treaties 6, 7, and 8. Namely: the Blackfoot Confederacy – Kainai, Piikani, and Siksika – the Cree, Dene, Saulteaux, Nakota Sioux, Stoney Nakoda, and the Tsuu T’ina Nation and the Métis People of Alberta. This includes the Métis Settlements and the Six Regions of the Métis Nation of Alberta within the historical Northwest Metis Homeland. We acknowledge the many First Nations, Métis and Inuit who have lived in and cared for these lands for generations. We are grateful for the traditional Knowledge Keepers and Elders who are still with us today and those who have gone before us. We make this acknowledgement as an act of reconciliation and gratitude to those whose territory we reside on or are visiting.
