CBC is thrilled to announce that AccessCBC, their national program for Deaf and disabled creators, is returning for its fourth season in partnership with the Disability Screen Office.

Applications are now open for our scripted, kids, and podcast streams. Detailed program information is available on the AccessCBC website, and the application deadline is Thursday, July 9, 2026.

Teeny Tales

CBC is pleased to announce the launch of Teeny Tales, a new short-form preschool series developed specifically for children aged 4 to 6 who communicate using American Sign Language (ASL). The series is available now on CBC Gem, CBC TV, and the CBC Kids YouTube channel.

To ensure authentic representation, Teeny Tales was written, directed, and performed by creators from the Deaf community. The series offers a humorous twist on classic fairy tales and features rich visual storytelling with full closed captioning to provide an inclusive experience for all audiences.
